Bug Description

Description: Ubuntu 12.04.2 LTS
Release: 12.04

winff:
  Installed: 1.4.3-1+ppa1p
  Candidate: 1.4.3-1+ppa1p
  Version table:
 *** 1.4.3-1+ppa1p 0
        500 http://ppa.launchpad.net/paul-climbing/ppa/ubuntu/ precise/main amd64 Packages
        100 /var/lib/dpkg/status
     1.4.1-1 0
        500 http://de.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ precise/universe amd64 Packages

Some time ago it worked quiet well. -> And that makes me think that I have all dependency's in place.
After selecting a video & setting following: "Convert To: Audio" and " Preset MP3"
I press "Convert" and "nothing" happens.
But: in the .winff folder the script is being generated and it works fine if I execute it manually.
Changing in preference the terminal to /usr/bin/xfce4-terminal does not help at all.

which lame ffmpeg avconv avplay
/usr/bin/lame
/usr/bin/ffmpeg
/usr/bin/avconv
/usr/bin/avplay

WINFF cmd output:
!/bin/sh
echo -n "\033]0; Converting Georgia Weidman Throw It in the River Towards Real Live Actual Smartphone Security-r9ehPvWkAGU (1/1)\007"
/usr/bin/avconv -y -i "/home/[removed]/Georgia Weidman Throw It in the River Towards Real Live Actual Smartphone Security-r9ehPvWkAGU.flv" -acodec libmp3lame -ab 160k -ac 2 -ar 44100 "/home/[removed]/Georgia Weidman Throw It in the River Towards Real Live Actual Smartphone Security-r9ehPvWkAGU.mp3"
read -p "Press Enter to Continue" dumbyvar
rm "/home/[removed]/.winff/ff130803153642.sh"

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and trying to help make Ubuntu better. However, it seems that you are not using a software package provided by the official Ubuntu repositories. Because of this the Ubuntu project can not support or fix your particular bug. However, because this package is maintained by me as well, I'll respond here anyway.

I believe you sent me a private e-mail earlier today, where you failed to mention that you were talking about a package from my private repository, if you report a bug in a private repository, please mention this fact.

In my mail to you I suggested two things, I see you tried one:

Apparently, this does not solve the issue.

I installed xfce4-terminal myself, and you need to specify "-x" instead of "-e" in the field "Terminal options". It seems I should file a similar bug as bug 559556 and bug 367954 against xfce4-terminal.

Closing this bug as invalid, as it is not a bug in Winff. I will create a prober bug against xfce4-terminal.
