Bug Description

I have a very strange bug when opening my KDE session ; right after logging it may take for ever to open the session with freezing of the mouve pointer on screen ; at the time I have the HD led on like there are some accesses to one of my HD ; in some instances I have to reboot to go through and be able to work in my KDE session ; now once my KDE session is opened I observe slow motion of window on screen ; to get normal behaviour I have to execute compiz 3D desktop ; where to search ?

Guess your problem is not easy. First of all, add information about your hardware (e.g. processor speed and Ram that may affect this problem) and your software (e.g. version of Kubuntu installed). Have you some problem before logging (usually boot time is less than a minute before kdm login)?
Thanks.

For the time being problem appears to be cured as I have not seen this happening for a while ; I will report back should I experiment some freezing as described.
