Bug Description
Hello,
my system takes a rather long time to shutdown (~7-10 sec.) while there are often error messages flashing on the screen like:
- Killing all remaining processes failed
- Mount: / is busy
To investigate the problem, I patched my /etc/init.
The only thing in that log that looks suspicious to me are the ones regarding dhclient:
dhclient 5786 1 0 cwd DIR 252,5 4096 2 /
dhclient 5786 1 0 rtd DIR 252,5 4096 2 /
dhclient 5786 1 0 txt REG 252,5 1659968 654751 /sbin/dhclient
dhclient 5786 1 0 mem REG 252,5 52168 786517 /lib/x86_
dhclient 5786 1 0 mem REG 252,5 1848024 786477 /lib/x86_
dhclient 5786 1 0 mem REG 252,5 149312 786464 /lib/x86_
dhclient 5786 1 0 4w REG 252,5 1058 21443 /var/lib/
Maybe there is some problem shutting down NetworkManager? I found the respective dhclient entries on two separate shutdown logs.
Kind regards,
Jan

Hi Jan,
Thanks for reporting this issue. I think you are correct - nm looks like the culprit. Re-assigning...
