Binary package hint: xserver-
there is some work done upstream to support the rs480 chipset found in many notebooks, but it currently requires radeon and mesa git. and since you even included the avivo driver..

This is still a problem as of Gutsy Tribe 3.
How can I help to get this supported? I am not a driver hacker, so I won't pretend to be one, but I will do whatever it takes to get this fixed.
I'm on an Dell Inspiron 1501.
