Bug Description
When running Firefox within Ubuntu Gnome Saucy Alpha 1, I found that the about:startpage (the default page loaded on startup) has a non-functional search box.
It neither responds to typing text and hitting enter, or typing text and pressing the 'Search' button. Entirely non-functional.

This seems to be resolved after updating, so that fix will probably make it into the Ubuntu Gnome Saucy final distro build.
