[xmir] Cursor in the the xfce4-terminal was not moving insync with the keyboard. Terminal was slow to read keystrokes.

Bug Description
When trying to type commands in the xcfe4-terminal, cursor was slow to print keystroke input(characters from the keys pressed on the keyboard). This made it difficult to run commands.
