Thank you ryanpg for submitting this report.

The report you have submitted lacks either stacktrace debug symbols and
the core dump.

Could you please try to obtain a backtrace by following the instructions
on [1], or upload the crash report that probably was generated during
the crash and that should be located at /var/crash/ to [2].

Please indicate which extensions/plugins do you have enabled; and if
this crash is reproducible describe the steps that lead to it (it is
very important for us to have a test case for each crash).

This will greatly aid us in tracking down your problem.

Thanks in advance.

H. Montoliu

Thanks for your report.

Unfortunately, your crash report was produced with a kernel version that had a glitch and didn't produce enough information for us to process.

Thanks for your contribution and keep on submitting firefox crash reports,

H. Montoliu

I am seeing the same problem everytime I click a download link (lins that you can't right click and do same as e.g Firefox download link http://en.www.mozilla.com/products/download.html?product=firefox-2.0.0.6&os=linux&lang=en-US ) will consistently crash Firefox. When Firefox is run from the terminal the following messages are displayed

semakwetu@kompyuta:~$ firefox

OK apologies I have just tested and found this is a GNOME theme problem. I had tried extensions and Firefox themes but problem still occurred. But I noticed the problem didn't exist if I was logged on as root so I changed my user's appearance/them back the Human theme and the problem seems to have disappeared... now to workout what s causing the problem in the theme because I really like it :-)

Best Wishes,
Steve

Hi Steve na Martha,

what theme was causing the problem?

Please fill a new bug report (we prefer a different report for each crash), and if possible attach the firefox crash report that should have been generated and that should be located at /var/crash/.

Thanks in advance.
