Bug Description

According to man 7 upstart-events, lightdm is supposed to emit an event called "desktop-session-start" whenever the user logs into a desktop session. This is also referenced in the upstart cookbook [1].
However, on a current saucy installation, that event is never emited. Has something changed in how lighdm emits events or should I file this as a bug?
