registration refused with Free IAP (France)

Binary package hint: ekiga

Hello,

Free is my IAP. I activated my SIP account but I can't phone with Ekiga.
I red in the forum (http://www.freephonie.org/topic2194.html?highlight=ekiga) that Free changed the identification protocol and that you are aware of the problem.
Do you intend to adapt Ekiga to this situation?

Are you able to test if this problem occurs with ekiga in gutsy? The gutsy release contains a new ekiga which fixes a lot of problems.

Ekiga 2.0.9 wont help. Work to fix this is currently being done in the SVN. I'll give it a try when SVN will be usable. (I'm using free.fr too ;) I will give you news ASAP.

Good news,

I've been able to place a call to a landline phone using freephonie.net this morning with bleeding edge SVN.

Expect to have a stable release allowing that with Ekiga version 3.0

Or you can use the SVN packages until then:
