Bug Description
Hi,
Thanks for this free application! I find it of great help in teaching mathematics remotely, to a first grader. I use Ubuntu 12.10 and a Genius graphical tablet on my side and he's on Window$.
I work mostly with the Whiteboard feature and there are few things that could be improved, imho:
- I would appreciate a color picker that stays on screen as a floating panel and that remembers at least the last color used (maybe the last 4?). This way I could draw various things by switching easily the colors and have the confidence that I use the same colors when I need to add something to an already existent sketch. Right now, except for pure blue, red, green and black, there is no guarantee that one can pick the same color again, as needed (or I am missing something).
- I would appreciate a floating panel for the dash-dotted-etc line types. Is either this or the color picker that would help me differentiate easily between to sketches (and return to them to add lines in the same color or style).
- More general, maybe you could do something to have all the things in the Preferences as optional floating panels that stay on screen if the user whishes so, for easy access.
- The "eraser" tool is a bit too accurate for me :) I mean one should indicate very precise what to delete, at pixel level. Instead I would use hapily a bigger shape eraser (square or circle) that can delete whatever touches it in the moment it is clicked. Or maybe to introduce a possiblity to switch between the accurate one (as it is now) and the bulk delete one, big one.
- I would appreciate a keyboard shorcut for "clear" or a directly accesible "clear" button in the panel (or a floating panel, as above).
All the best,
Lian
