Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. apache2 has been moving fast recently with the transition to 2.4, and we appreciate your help in ironing out the issues.

It looks like you were running 2.4.4-6ubuntu5 at the time of your problem, that this was fixed in Debian apache2 2.4.6-1, and Ubuntu Saucy is now on 2.4.6-2ubuntu1 so should include the fix. Since it seems very likely to me that this issue is now fixed, I'm marking this bug Fix Released for now.

If you find that it is in fact not fixed in Saucy, please explain your testing and set the bug status back to New. Thanks!
