Moovida not working in Lubuntu: NOTHING IS WORKING

Moovida starts but nothing else works:

Scanning: Not working & no support on how to scan
Music does not play
Videos do not play
Internet videos: Can be search but cannot be played.

Navigation: Developers forgot to include it.

Ubuntu is so frustrating! I regret switching to Linux.

Added information:

Under Devices & Shares, I am unable to add This Computer, which I believe does the scanning thing (really not obvious)
Error: No Resource Provider Found for URI Volumes://localhost/?filter=file

Some video trailers do play.

However, YouTube videos do not play although they can be searched.
