Bug Description
Linux Mint 14.1 (nadia) 64 bit undated including level 3.
A recent occurance, and always repeatable. HP-LaserJet-4000 can produce a Printer page (ubuntu), includes Driver: HP4000_5.PPD Description: PPD-VERSION-STRING Driver Version: HP LaserJet 4000
Prints an email but repeats the lower half of the email as a 2nd page.
An attempt to print All or Current page (one page) of a pdf file results in a comment in Printer State:"Idle -Waiting for printer to finish." with the following print result on the second page, the 1st page being blank:
ERROR:
invalidaccess
OFFENDING COMMAND:
filter
STACK:
/SubFileDecode
endstream

Initially the Printer State: "Printer may not be connected" with the same ERROR message as above. The Device URL was changed from the original setting. I removed the printer from localhost and reinstalled it with the only change being the Printer State: message "Idle -Waiting for printer to finish."
The printer is a ethernet network with a HP Direct EX Plus interface - and haven't experienced a printing problem before with a range of Linux Mint distro.
Incedently the printer works fine via Fedora 17 and its Test Page shows the same driver information - plus reference to Cups 1.5.4
There is a bug here for sure - a Linux Mint bug. I updated LibreOffice from 3.5 to 4.1 - and I can't print a particular pdf file, an Aussie Commsec pdf file within Linux Mint 14.1.
What I get is 2 pages, the first is blank and the 2nd has the following text included at the top:
ERROR:
invalidaccess
OFFENDING COMMAND
filter
STACK:
/SubFileDecodee
endstream

--nostringval--

To add insult to injury, if I copy the atached file to a memory stick and then open Ubuntu 12.04 - which is dual booted with Linux Minr 14.1 - with the same printer setup I can print the pdf file.
I can print other pdf files, emails, text docs but not this particular pdf file.
Seems to me to be an issue between Linux Mint 14 and HP drivers - which seeema odd given that Linux Mint 14 is - as I understand it - based on Ubuntu 12.04.
If there is other info I can supply to resolve this issue I'd be happy to help.
