DOSbox after fullscreen icons on desktop dissapear

Bug Description
i use DOSbox to play my old dos games and when i do sometimes it freeses and then i press alt+enter to get out of fullscreen and the icons/folders on the desktop dissapear and in the bottom bar i click the files folder and then it opens and all the icons appear again i am using linux mint 14 nadia 32 bit
i386
kernel 3.10
the problem happens quite a lot the game i play is any game on dosbox causes the problem
