This probably isn't a bug, and here's why; It turns out that Postfix was in fact working and the emails were being sent. The issue was they were being marked as spam, and on top of that, the Gmail app for Android has been having sync issues. Every time I would check the spam box from the app, there would be nothing there, because it never synced. Now that I am aware of this, I think the conflict was that Postfix and Qmail were installed at the same time, which caused the error.
