Very likely a dupe of bug #1068994 -- but if lucky it's http://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=66720

I uploaded the fix for the second bug to ppa:canonical-x/x-staging -- can you test when it finishes building?

This issue has sat with a status of 'Incomplete' for almost nine years without any response so it is being closed as 'Invalid' although the bug may well have been fixed.

Ubuntu 13.10 (saucy) reached end-of-life on July 17, 2014.

Please feel free to re-open this bug report if this is still an issue when using a currently supported release of Ubuntu and tell us in which release you still experience this issue.
