Bug Description

Inkscape 0.48+devel r12217
Os affected: Both Windows XP and Windows 7

Sample file attached.

There is a text put on a path. When inserting text cursor at beginning of the text and inserting space characters, Inkscape does not behave as expected.

Expected behaviour: Text should "slide forward" while more space characters is typed before the first non-space character.

What actually happens: When typing spaces, the already existing characters seems to change vertical shift. And when typing space further the cursor skip forward, so when typing space next time, there will be a space between first (non-space) character and the second one.

Another thing I noticed is that there seems to be impossible to insert cursor other places in text but in the very beginning or end.
