Bug Description

each users in a channel should have a random color. They should not need to be set by hand.

Maybe not completely random, but based on an algorithm?

Maybe create a gradient with n (= number of users) steps, using the Tango colors as "main steps". If that makes sense

I'd use some predefined colors because random colors will look messy.

10 or so colors should suffice because it's pretty rare that more than 10 people engage simultaneously in the same conversation. The colors could then be reassigned after a user has been inactive for a certain amount of time or messages posted by other users.
