Bug Description

Binary package hint: gnome-panel

Menu bar jumped 90 degrees to right side of screen after loading gnome-ppp application with synaptic.
Is this an option normally available through short cut keys?
Cannot think of anything else relevant.

Immediate problem resolved; found right click on panel provided option
to restore menu bar to top of screen. Also computer shut down for no
apparent reason. The latter may relate to the former. Thanks for the
interest.

Thank you for your bug. Do you have steps to trigger it? Are you sure you didn't click on the panel and do a small drag and drop by mistake?

G'day Sebastien,
I'm pretty sure I did not do an accidental drag and drop but may have
hit a shortcut key if one exists. It is more likely to be a gliche which
ocurred prior to the power shutdown of my computer. Once both power and
the menu bar were restored, no further problem has recurred. Both appear
stable. Sorry to have bothered you.
Don.

that's alright, closing the bug then, feel free to reopen if you get the bug again and can describe easy steps to trigger it
