Bug Description

I'm using Dell D630. I've installed Kubuntu 12.04 a few months ago and suspend & hibernate worked fine. About a month ago, maybe less, after system update problem occurred. Two weeks ago I reinstalled entire system to Kubuntu 13.04 and resume after suspend also resulted in blank screen. I tried run full system upgrade - currently got kernel 3.8.0-25-generic and resume still doesn't work.

Resume from suspend results in blank screen, activity lights, keyboard and mouse doesn't work and laptop doesn't response to any SSH connection attempts.

Artanis, as per http://www.dell.com/support/troubleshooting/us/en/04/Product/latitude-d630 an update is available for your BIOS (A18). If you update to this, does it change anything?

If not, could you please provide the output of the following terminal command:
sudo dmidecode -s bios-version && sudo dmidecode -s bios-release-date

Thank you for your understanding.

I installed yesterday Arch Linux on this laptop and suspend worked perfectly, so I assume it isn't bios problem.
