Bug Description
Have a Nook HD+ using latest version 2.10 firmware. I can "read" and "write" the contents of the nook HD+ from a Windows 7 system running Calibre 0.9.37, but not from a Linux system (OpenSuSE 12.3) running either Calibre 0.9.37 or 0.9.38. Calibre sees the device, but then gives the following error:
calibre, version 0.9.38
ERROR: Error: Error communicating with device
Failed to upload file named: driveinfo.calibre to (u'SD Card',): 2:PTP Layer error 2002: send_file_
2:Error 2002: PTP: General Error

That is an error in libmtp, you should report it to them.
