"folder does not exist" when connecting to server [$15]

Bug Description

When I'm connecting to a directory on a server, the folder does not exist message remains in the tab even once connected. only when i move between tabs (and navigate back) does the correct folder name appear.

How are you guys experiencing this? I never get the folder does not exist message when I connect to a server.

@Robert Roth: No, but it's on my todo list. I have been quite busy lately, but I hope to find time for it in one or two weeks. If someone else wants to try to fix this, it would be fine with me.

@Niclas Lockner: thanks for the response. Just asked you because you have set yourself as assignee and the bug in progress three months ago, your branch has been reviewed more than a month ago, and this usually means that the person fixing the issue has abandoned fixing it, so it doesn't hurt to ask. It would be great if you could update your branch based on the review in the upcoming weeks, otherwise I'm sure someone else will pick up your branch and fix the remaining issues.
