Bug Description

After i installed grub-efi-amd64 and managed to boot into ubuntu, an error dialog popped up and tell me something went wrong with grub-efi-amd64, and then filed this bug.

My machine is a MacBook Pro MD213,
I installed Ubuntu 13.10 alpha1 in a legacy mode, and try to convert into EFI mode.

This release of Ubuntu is no longer receiving maintenance updates. If this is still an issue on a maintained version of Ubuntu please let us know.
