Can't run Cordova project on desktop or device

I created a Cordova project, had seen the option for the first time.

Build > Run
Starting /usr/bin/cordovaqt-2.3 .
Failed to start program. Path or permissions wrong?
/usr/bin/cordovaqt-2.3 exited with code -1

Note: the containing folder is called "eg.html5cordova"

Cordova isn't there yet, even the plugin is. Until that it's indeed unoptimal behavior.

As of ubuntu-system build 70 (grouber/N7), I still cannot run the default HTMl5/Cordova app produced from the SDK on the device after it is successfully detected with Devices. Here's the reported log starting with the final line that seems non problematic:

Fixed in 2.8.1-0ubuntu1, but the bzr change was not mentioned in the changelgo.

With 14.04 (r10), I'm still running into this trying to run on the phone. Trying to run the default project, I get:
