Bug Description

ubuntu 13.10 boots into user account but finishes with an empty launcher with message of internal error (since update today and demanded reboot). after recovery mode and repairing missing packages i ended up here (me not expert in ubuntu/linux, me spoonfed and fed-up user of winstupid and fairly new to linux but already learned of tons in shortest time)
