Soundconverter does not convert wma files with restricted-extras

Soundconverter could not convert wma files. Added xubuntu-restricted-extras as per instructions. But Soundconverter still unable to convert the wmas.

Can you read WMA files in totem or rhythmbox ?

Rythmbox will not load wmas. Quod Libet will load them but won't play them.

Alright, if totem can't read them, SoundConverter cannot either.

Now that's depend of the WMA. Plain WMA should be readable, but DRM or lossless WMA will not play.

You should try to as on xubuntu forums, I can't help you more here.
