Bug Description
In feisty, my RT2500 WLAN card would work using the drivers from the rt2x00-legacy directory.
With gutsy, these drivers are gone. The drivers from the rt2x00 directory don't work at all, modprobe'ing them doesn't give any messages in dmesg.

I installed linux-image- 2.6.22- 7-generic and built the rt2xxx drivers using the hourly CVS snapshot:
rt2x00pci does not work
rt2500pci does work and that driver is installed by default as well, when building from source.
Why were the legacy rt2500 and rt2400 drivers removed in gutsy even when the original sourcecode builds and installes these (obviously for a reason, as we see)?
