Bug Description
14.1 (nadia) Mate 64 bit
Unable to mount Blank CD-R disc. Location already mounted - error message received when I inserted a CD to image an iso.
Unable to mount location. Can't mount file - error message when I tried to load a used CD
The CD drive had been used the previous day for burning an iso image to a DVD - which was done successfully, then today the above.
It's a Mint problem as the CD/DVD drive works fine with Fedora 17
The CD/DVD drive is unusuable with Linux Mint 14.1, the problem appears to be permanent as re booting doesn't improve matters

Linux Mint 17 (qiana), Kernel 3.13.0-24-generic, Mate 1.8.1
When blank disc is inserted an error dialogue appears 'Unable to mount blank CD-R disc, Location is already mounted'.
Underneath that is another dialogue saying 'Your have just inserted a blank CD. Choose what application to launch'. A 'Blank CD' icon also appears on the desktop. However, the drop-down selection is greyed out and says 'No applications found'. Brasero is installed and working but does not seem to be linked to the CD mounting process.
If Brasero is started before the blank CD is inserted the error dialogue still appears.
Caja - Edit - Preferences - Media - Other Media - Blank CD also shows 'No applications found' in a greyed-out drop-down selector.
Been unable to find anywhere to link Brasero to the blank CD loading process.
This bug is fully repeatable and occurred in Mint 16 as well.
