Bug Description
After a failure, you might have to restart your system. In this case the logs from /var/log/
To post a comment you must log in.
Since upstart can capture and log all stdout/stderr even from early boot, it would be nicer for /etc/init/ lightdm. conf to ask lightdm to log to stdout/stderr. That way complete logs would be collected in /var/log/ upstart/ lightdm. log (and rotated). I don't see an option to run lightdm in foreground and/or log to stdout/stderr. Can that be added?
