Bug Description

I have my music collection on a NAS.

### what happens

open the folder / import for playing is slow (been running for 30 minutes and not even 5% complete)

### what is expected

in Ubuntu 12.04 and before this took all of a minute for 10k songs from the same NAS device

---

It should not take so long to find and add songs to the play list. IMO it should take as long as nautalis takes to display the file list, which is how long it took in previous versions.

Since 13.04 it takes longer than physically copying the music over.

Thanks dogmatic69 for this information. It would be good if you could test your issue with the development version of Ubuntu (14.04) that has a much newer version of Rhythmbox. For this you can simply create a life USB or CD and try the 14.04 version which brings Rhtythmbox by default.
