Bug Description

Binary package hint: initramfs-tools

Clean feisty install. Booting up with an array that needs to be rebuilt results in it being rebuilt... but this blocks the rest of the process. The initramfs wait for root times out and drops to a console. The rebuild should happen in the background and the rest of the arrays should be done... as long as there is enough of the volume to actually activate it.
