Duplexer is not to disable for HP OfficejetPro 8000

On using

SystemSettings -> Printer -> HP OfficejetPro 8000 -> properties -> installable options -> Duplexer -> uncheck the checkbox

takes no effect, even after confirming appliing the changes with the appropriate button and pressing o.K

The printer is still using hte Duplexer.

I have not tested if a logout/login or newstart of the system makes the change working. It should also work within a desktop session.(Printing 2 page etticets should not be).

Steps to reproduce:
1. Have a HP OfficejetPro 8000 known to the Ubuntu system with installed Duplexer
2.SystemSettings -> Printer -> HP OfficejetPro 8000 -> properties -> installable options -> Duplexer -> uncheck the checkbox
3.Apply the changes
4.Use o.K button
5.Start a print with at minimum 2 pages.
6.See that the Duplexer is still working, even you have disabled it in step2

Thank you for submitting this bug and reporting a problem with the system-config-printer package. You made this bug report in 2013 and Ubuntu and the system-config-printer package have been updated since then.

Could you confirm that this is no longer a problem and that we can close the ticket?
If it is still a problem, are you still interested in finding a solution to this bug?
If you are, could you let us know and, in the current version, could you run the following (only once):
apport-collect 1193854
and upload the updated logs and and any other logs that are relevant for this particular issue.
