Bug Description

Since the latest release which is OR1660, the engine sound of the rear locomotive is not revving up. This issue is hard to reproduce because this issue is not present on other routes/activities, but on the Scenic Sub2/Westbound Coal, this issue is present.

Note: On OR1653, this was not an issue.

The last release I have is OR1653 so this issue started after this.

After extensive testing, I have no explanation as to how this is happening. The only consist that the issue was happening with was the default consist that came with the Scenic Sub2 route. The locomotives used in the front and the rear of the train were duplicated, but this should not be an issue. I tested the locomotives in a new consist and the issue was not present. I replaced the last 2 locomotives used in the consist and all is well. For now this will have to be an odd glitch that I was unable to reproduce. If you have this route, the name of the consist is "Westward Coal 2.con"

I take what I just said back. This issue can be reproduced. As of OR1660, if you have loco #33 in the front and you put the same locomotive in the rear, the duplicated locomotive at the rear of the train will show no sign of being used and this is including the smoke that comes from the train. So the bug involves the use of duplicated locomotives between the front and rear of the train. I should try duplicating the same locomotive at the front just to see if this still happens.

Just tested using duplicate locomotives at the front and the issue is present so OR1660 has an issue with duplicated locomotives.

It turns out that the duplicated locomotive is shut down and can be started via the "Control Helper Locomotive" command.

I humbly apologize for my never ending posts, but when the "Control Diesel Helper" command is used, the duplicated locomotive is started, but any other locomotive used is shut down.

Well, I've added the Initialize() function that is called right after the InitFromWagFile, but it is not called after the InitFromCopy, thus the copied locomotives are not started while other helpers are. Will be fixed...
