libreoffice email as pdf does not attach anything

When working on an ODF document and needing to send to MS windows users, I file/send/email as pdf and it would bring up an email window with an attached pdf of the ODF I was working on.
Now, it only opens an email window with no attachment or pdf, but the subject line is thenameofthedocument.pdf
I cannot confirm, but I remember this working well in 12.10 and 12.04. Seems to be an issue recently with 13.04.

Same goes for sending word documents, still no attached file but a subject filled in with the filename. Tried with the default out of the box ubuntu 13.04 and thunderbird mail client, supposed to be working.

Check if Tools-Options-Internet-Email is set to sensible-lomua. Change that to thunderbird as an interim solution.

sensible-lomua seems to be broken.

Same problem with 13.10. Changing default mail client helps.
