Bug Description

I believe there are some inconsistencies in Operations Manual 9.0.

1) Page 16 "Route File (.trk) – Level Crossings are supported. Overhead wire is not supported." Overhead wire seems to be supported instead
2) Pages 16-17 for some file types, like e.g. ssource.dat, the more correct comment should be" Open Rails does not provide a Route Editor in the current release" and not "Not supported at the present time."
3) Page 21 HUD dispatcher information: what is described is the "old" version of such information; the dispatcher information has been widely modified and extended
4) Pages 21 and 22, starting from last paragraph of page 21: I wonder if such information about AI's is up to date
5) Page 34: diesel engines switch on/switch off: key used is Y and not Z, as noticed by someone in the Elvas Tower forum
6) Page 55: about AI trains uncoupling cars by inserting in path a waiting point with specific parameters: I believe that this unfortunately has been removed by rewriting signalling.

A warning should be added indicating that all the key assignments described in the manual are valid only for english keyboards.

Thanks, Carlo; very helpful.

Before I jump to it, has anyone found any other lapses?

Chris

On Page 20, "Extended Hud-F5" - should read "The extended HUD is accessed by pressing the Shift-F5 key successive times."
 ('Shift' was omitted)
From Page 20 on - the descriptions of the extended HUD keys after the first (Braking information) are out of order. i.e. the second is the Train Force Information, not the Dispatcher, etc.

Otherwise - a great document.
