Bug Description
The Live CD didn't work (Bug 119245), so I had to use the text-based one from the alternative cd. However, it was unable to even give me a VESA mode, and the Xorg log told me that no working modes were found, or something like that.
I've used VESA modes before, in Fedora Core 6. Interestingly, however, I had the same problem when I tried to install Fedora 7. Maybe it's a Xorg 1.3 problem.
I installed the fglrx driver (from console mode) and it worked.
