When starting, running on battery, or back to ac power this is what I get:

Affects me too in Ubuntu 14.04 with cpufreqd 2.4.2-2ubuntu1.

Effect is that when AC power is restored, full performance mode is not endabled so this is a major drawback for laptop users who which to preserve energy when AC off and gain full performance when AC is on.

It sounds like it wasa fixed inDebian version 2.3.3, but it is not working to restore back full performance mode when AC is back on.

Is anything being done about this bug. Although it's not a show stopper, it is quite inconvenient as I have to restart the cpufreqd service every time I unplug or connect AC, otherwise I end up with my CPU being stepped down to 800MHz in frequency.

This package is basically obsolete and unmaintained these days since frequency scaling management is fully in the kernel so you are probably best just uninstalling it.
