Bug Description
If a user creates a port, attaches the interface to a VM, and then detaches the interface from the VM, he/she then finds that the port is deleted. The same happens when the VM is destroyed.
It would be desirable to keep the port when the interface is detached/VM destroyed, if the port is created independently.
