when i play a movie its color is in blue, previously this did not happen until i updated the codec.

when i couldnt play a particular movie which was in .avi format the player requested to find codec for it. when it finish findind the codecs i selected all on the list and updated it. when finish updating i could play the movie but the picture had a blueish hue color on it. im using a dell600 with ati radeon x1400 using the updated ubuntu driver. sorrie im a newbie n its my first time usin linux. thanks for the help!
