Furthermore is there a problem in transporting the sso credentials retrieved from the dbus-service to duplicity, which expects them to be in the environment variable FTP_PASSWORD. I fixed this by modifying the common/

org.gnome.DejaDup backend 'u1'
org.gnome.DejaDup delete-after 182
org.gnome.DejaDup exclude-list ['/home/
org.gnome.DejaDup include-list ['/home/vehre']
org.gnome.DejaDup last-backup '2013-06-
org.gnome.DejaDup last-restore ''

org.gnome.DejaDup periodic true
org.gnome.DejaDup periodic-period 7
org.gnome.DejaDup prompt-check 'disabled'

I can not add the deja-dup.log, because I fixed the problem on my system now.
I also have the same symptom in my ThinkPad X220 running Ubuntu 12.04 LTS with all latest patches applied. It asks encrypted password forever and not go further from password input window. Of course I am inputting correct password but it doesn't work.
This bug appeared in July and I think some updates relating to deja-dup affected this bug.
