I just upgraded a week ago to kubuntu 13.04.
I need a distro with as much as possible features as possible. Kubuntu seems to be the one, but i was not sure wich environment to choose :
So i have installed (i know it s crazy):
- gnome,
- ubuntu,
- xubuntu ,
and of course kubuntu ...
No wonder, all of them works verry good (or almost) except for kubuntu :(
I see the login window , i select kubuntu plasma workspace, or kubuntu plasma ... something (the netbook version, i think), i introduce the password, i see a white screen with a mouse rotating, and ... nothing. Everything dissapers ... Except for the white screen ...
Before kubuntu 13.04, on the 12.10 versions (yes all of them installed simultaneously also) everything worked :)
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Kubuntu better. We are sorry that we do not always have the capacity to look at all reported bugs in a timely manner. There have been many changes in Kubuntu since that time you reported the bug and your problem may have been fixed with some of the updates. It would help us a lot if you could test it on a currently supported Kubuntu version. If you test it and it is still an issue, kindly upload the updated logs by running only once:
apport-collect 1188680
and any other logs that are relevant for this particular issue.
