Bug Description

[Rationale]

With the release of the new Unity stack that includes the new HUD, HUD 'recommends' the julius-voxforge. It's not a crucial issue, but it would be good if this recommendation could land into main as well. On the other hand, julius-voxforge Recommends: julius, so julius also should be included into main.
Julius is a known project, last stable version was released on 2012.08.01.

Size wise, both packages seem OK as well. Sources vary around 1.6 MB while the actual binary packages 1.4MB and 2.0MB.

[Dependencies]

julius-voxforge has safe dependencies, recommending julius. Julius also seems to have all dependencies in main.

julius-voxforge is approved. Just data, and not complexly packaged. I'd like to see a team bug subscriber, but no big deal.

julius is in multiverse. If that's correct (that is, it does not meet the Ubuntu licensing policy for main/universe), then it must not be moved to either main or restricted; rather, julius-voxforge must drop its Recommends to Suggests, or remove it entirely if appropriate.

Though it sounds like it's moot, here's where you can read about why Julius' licence is non-free per our definition. (This was a debian-legal discussion, but I would be inclined to agree that the restriction on publishing/presenting results is non-free - even if it codifies good scientific practice - and the choice-of-venue clause certainly makes me nervous.)

Marking julius as Won't Fix, since it is no longer needed and in multiverse anyway. It also is only provided as a static library instead of a shared library, which seems problematic.

marking julius-voxforge as WON'T FIX as it has been removed as well as hud doesn't use it anymore.
