Bug Description

battery applet no longer give battery level in the small battery icon. before
2.9.3 it did, using some Ubuntu specific patch AFAIK.

I meant before 2.9.4, in 2.9.3. Current version = gnome-applets
2.9.4-0ubuntu2

the patch need to be rewritten upstream are changing the code a lot in this area

fixed with this upload:

 gnome-applets (2.9.6-0ubuntu2) hoary; urgency=low
 .
   * debian/patches/05_battstat-icon.patch:
     - new patch to display the battstat level on the small icon (Hoary: #5451).
