Bug Description

When I choose an item from parcellite history to paste, non-ASCII characters are converted to Unicode (e.g. "ba\u015fkalar\u0131n\u0131n yan\u0131 s\u0131ra") which makes the History feature useless in other character sets.

this bug affects me too
the string "The item has arrived today" after copy are converted in history to "p\Uffffffff\Uffffffff has arrived today"

Hi,

Could you try to reproduce this bug with parcellite 1.1.9 ? Several similar bugs have been fixed by upstream, and I can't reproduce this one.
