NTFS format in 13.04 latest mis-lables partition type

Bug Description
Clean up to date install on Dell Latitude 6430u.
Format NTFS MBR full disk single partition.
Copy files.
Connect to PC and Mac no work.
Connect back to linux works fine.
Check partition type. set to linux 83.
Change partition type to NTFS. No reformat.
Connect to mac and PC works fine...
Gui not passing correct options to the format command...
