Bug Description

What happened: When editing a new presentation or viewing existing, some letters of a slide title are not visible. They are displayed correctly during a slide show, but not in the preview slide (see attached screenshot). Changing the font does not help. It seems that it is only a display problem, because an exported to PDF file is correct.

What was expected: The titles should be displayed correctly.

a/ the two issues are likely unrelated given the vastly different versions. next time please open a new bug.
b/ the Joomla odp from comment 5 open fine here on Ubuntu 14.04 with LibreOffice 4.2.8. Likely you are either missing fonts used in the presentation or you have broken fonts installed.

The font is ARIAL and is installed on my system, I also tried to delete and rewrite the text from scratches without any formatting - just plain typing -, would you please confirm that the issue does not appear on your machine even if you click on the text (and activate editing) as shown in the snapshot ?

Thanks.
