Bug Description
Hello,
I had the following issue on a x64 Ubuntu:
I just installed skype via apt-get. On running it, I get some error saying that libGL.so.1 is not found.
I solved the problem by adding a file /usr/local/
I am unsure, why the library is not found by the loader. There seems to be no config file for the library loader. in /etc/ld.so.conf.d. I think (but am not sure) that this should be set up correctly by the libgl1-mesa-dri package.
Release: Ubuntu 13.04
skype: 4.2.0.11-
libgl1-

What version of the libgl1- mesa-glx: i386 package do you have? What is the output of 'update- alternatives --display i386-linux- gnu_gl_ conf'? Do you have a /etc/alternativ es/i386- linux-gnu_ gl_conf link?
You should have an /etc/ld. so.conf. d/i386- linux-gnu_ GL.conf link pointing at the /etc/alternatives link. If this is missing, that's probably not a bug in mesa; the handling of this link is fairly standard and bullet proof. It would be more likely a problem of filesystem corruption, rogue software, or user error (at some point in the past).
