Launcher icons blurry / low quality when at odd numbered sizes

When the launcher icon size (System Settings > Appearance > Launcher Icon Size) is set to an odd number, icons will appear fuzzy. See these images:

This could be (as far as my knowledge goes) easily remedied by locking the size slider to even numbers.
