simon broken on ubuntu 13.04

I tried to install simon on Ubuntu 13.04 Gnome AMD64

I used the binaries from http://ppa.launchpad.net/simon-listens/releases/ubuntu

The startup of ksimond fails: For a short time a window with a question mark is shown, nothing happens.

The startup of simon fails too: "Szenarien bzw. Schattenwörterbuch kann nicht geladen werden" (Cannot load profile or dictionary).

Confirm the problem. Removing configuration files and starting sam as recommended here http://sourceforge.net/p/speech2text/discussion/672426/thread/9d2c3e5e is not solves the issue.

After upgrade to Ubuntu 13.10 beta Simon works normally, so it broken only in Ubuntu 13.04
