Can you send a RAF file causing the problem to <email address hidden>? That would help us see where the issue lies.

Romuald sent me the RAF file. I confirmed the crash is occuring inside of LibRaw, the library Shotwell relies upon for RAW file processing. I've change the affected project to LibRaw.

It looks like version 0.15 of LibRaw fixes this problem: http://www.libraw.org/news/libraw-0-15-0 That version was released about four days ago.

Romauld, I recommend building and installing the latest LibRaw and see if that fixes your problem.

Thanks for the feedback Jim. I won't invest time and energy on building components, and as I run the Yorba ppa, I'll wait for your next release, no emergency here.
